A side note from Heather

We are all being diligent about sun screen, but I personally have been using Vanicream, which Kathlyne found and I LOVE, as well as Burts Bees "naturally Ageless" oil and "Radiance" SPF 15 day cream. I've been carded TWICE this past month! Once at the Olive Garden when I ordered a glass of wine, and once at Safeway while buying Dayquil.

And while on the topic of Dayquil, I started feeling sick yesterday. I was SO congested and sick. But I was determined to get better quick. I started taking Cold Calm and Zicam right away. That with a lot of tea and fluids and I feel completely better this evening! I've used Zicam many times, but this was my first time trying Cold Calm. I truly think that was what really helped me get better so quickly!

Valentines Day 2010

Tony woke up with Angelica at 5:45 to let mommy sleep in. Once Max woke up, he took him to the store to surprise the girls with balloons, candy, Starbuck's, chocolate covered strawberries and a cinamon roll! What a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Gabby had a moment of sadness when her TV show talked about friends on Valentine's Day. She said, "I don't have a friend on Valentine's Day." Tony cheered her up by saying, "It's okay, you have your daddy. Always remember, when you don't have a boy to share cards or chocolates with, you can always come back to your daddy."
Like everyday, Max has given his sister Gabby a bunch of hugs out of nowhere throughout the day. We are very blessed with love in this family! The kids are having a blast in the tent dad got for Christmas that he put up in the backyard.

Everyone is very excited about Max's birthday on Tuesday and Disneyland Saturday!!

A mac and cheese recipe the whole family will love!

Heat organic chicken broth to a boil, then add small organic pasta noodles. I add just enough for the pasta to absorb the broth and have a little left over. While the pasta is cooking, cut up into tiny pieces fresh vegetables (frozen veggies work great too!) and add it to the pot. Once the pasta is fully cooked, and veggies are soft, add a dash of salt and pepper and cubed or shredded chedder and jack cheese to your liking. My kids like it really cheesy!

Dad said, "I'll do it, I'm Mr. Incredible."
Gabby said, "Dad, you're not Mr. Incredible, but you ARE incredible."

Max's vocabulary is growing! Today he pointed while riding his tricycle and said, "that way!".

Annie - added a couple cute coos today.
